WHY FINDMYBOARD

Finding the right embedded board should not take weeks.

FindMyBoard was built to solve the frustration of finding the right embedded board.

You start with a clear set of requirements. Interfaces are defined. Performance targets are known. Thermal and power constraints are understood. Then comes the next step. Do you go chip-down for full control, or start with a system-on-module to reduce time to prototype? Do you validate on a dev kit first, or commit directly to a production-ready platform?

No matter the path, the challenge is the same. You need to identify the right board-level solution in a market that has grown massive and fragmented. That search still takes too long.

The embedded board ecosystem has expanded rapidly. A single silicon vendor can have dozens of ecosystem partners and hundreds of board-level products. Across the broader Arm ecosystem, that scales to thousands of SOMs, SBCs, development kits, embedded PCs, and HMI platforms, with new products introduced every quarter.

The breadth of choice is a strength of the ecosystem. The difficulty is navigating it efficiently.

The problem is not just volume. It is structure. Board vendors describe similar capabilities in different ways. Connectivity features can be listed as high-level labels, chipset-level details, or buried inside datasheets. Processor naming is inconsistent across vendors, even when the underlying silicon is identical. Core configurations, frequencies, and product names are often presented differently depending on the source. Comparing options becomes a manual process that does not scale.

FindMyBoard exists to make this process systematic.

18 MONTHS OF SOLVING THIS

We're a cross-functional team from semiconductor, electrical, AI/ML, and UX/UI backgrounds.

We're a team of semiconductor industry veterans, electrical engineers, AI/ML and UX/UI engineers.

We spent the last 18 months collecting, normalizing, cross-referencing, and structuring board-level product data across hundreds of products from dozens of vendors and multiple silicon suppliers.

Our AI/ML work focuses on making this data searchable and comparable in ways that match how engineers define requirements. It's a problem that sounds straightforward until you try to do it across the full ecosystem.

We're still refining it, and we probably always will be. That's the nature of a living database in a market that doesn't sit still.

BUILT FOR ENGINEERS

Built for engineers, by engineers.

FindMyBoard is an independent selection tool designed to get you from requirements to shortlist in minutes, not days. We're not trying to sell you a board. We don't represent any single vendor. We bridge the gap between semiconductor companies, board vendors, and the engineers who make a product.

Our job is to surface the right options and give you the data you need to make a confident decision quickly.

Filter by processor, interfaces, connectivity, form factor, temperature range, and more across the most comprehensive Arm-based SOM, SBC, and dev kit database we could assemble. We're starting with Arm and actively evaluating expansion into FPGA, GPU, and x86 architectures based on what the community tells us matters most.

COMMUNITY DRIVEN

We're building this with you, not just for you.

FindMyBoard is early. We're actively shaping what this becomes, and your input drives our roadmap.

Found a board we are missing? Spotted an error in a spec? Have an idea for a feature that would save you time? We want to hear it.

Use the on the site or reach out directly. Every suggestion from the community makes this platform sharper for everyone.

Whether you're a solo engineer prototyping on a weekend, a team lead sourcing for a production design, or a board vendor who wants engineers to find your products, FindMyBoard is here to make the selection process faster, more transparent, and a whole lot less painful.
